Vesna Jaksic and Paul Leahy of Re-Wind and EirBLADE joined Ella McSweeney of RTÉ Brainstorm for a in-depth discussion of blade end-of-life.

Brainstorm is a science magazine and podcast series run by Ireland’s national public broadcaster, RTÉ.

The two EirBLADE investigators discuss the disadvantages of landfilling end-of-life blades, and explore more sustainable solutions such as repurposing. They also show how EirBLADE’s unique database and application can act as a matchmaking service between decommissioned blades and new applications in repurposed structures and products.
